Witch Bar: Unreal Engine 5

The Project

For this Project, I set out with the idea of creating a witch themed café/bar.

I wanted to see how well I could make a small scene within a few weeks of spare time.

The main areas I focused on was creating detailed models that could display the theme I had chosen and to tell a story with the objects in the scene.

The Process

I started the project by creating some mood boards and gathering reference material to understand what a which bar might look like. After getting some ideas, I blocked out most of the major objects in the scene to plan the main structure of the building. After getting the modular building blocks into Unreal Engine, I started gathering more references and creating items and assets that you would find in a typical bar, a bar tap, mugs, stools, etc.

Reflection

I plan on coming back to this project in the future to add textures to all the assets and make a fully enclosed building. I learned to manage my time better than I have in the past, using Trello® to keep track of all my assets with due dates attached.
